I’m so excited about this! I’ve been looking for months for an opportunity to teach a WEEKLY Yin Yoga class that also includes elements of modern mindfulness….. and from 30th May I can!
Yin yoga is a mindful, slow form of the practice with long holds of up to 3 minutes. The intention of yin yoga is to open connective tissue and joints in a safe, relaxed way. There are no standing poses, and most of the time is spent lying or sitting. Yin brings us into our relaxation mode, away from our stress response, increasing our connection to our bodies and ourselves
Classes will be 75 minutes at the stunning Yoga House just off Warwick Park. In each session we’ll be working through our Yin Yoga poses and using the practice to explore mindfulness concepts, such as coming out of automatic pilot, and responding not reacting. Every Wednesday 7.30 – 8.45pm from 30 May
